I'm a bit late to this post - hope the "spending time with some friends and loved ones" has been both good for the soul and good for perspective. I think you're a great writer - words and ideas flow easily in your pieces - so it's good to hear you pursuing that aspect of your varied interests.

I'm looking forward to reading whatever comes next: a short story, a novel, a graphic novel, an interview, a film script or an observation-based article chock full of hefty and funny "Wardisms"!

All the best over the holiday season and see you in 2012!

Greetings from the Rockman !

Hey Jason ... nice to hear that you are still "cooking with rock" !

I miss hearing both you and Alex on the Q ! I have found my listening
time and pleasure of the Q has been reduced ... after all, a little bit of
"cutting edge controversy" is good for radio, as far as I am concerned !
Perhaps I should recycle my university radio show from my days at
Brock University (called "Voice of the Oarsman" ... and I too was
caught in a political squabble way back in the '70's where they attempted
to move me from my regular time slot (Monday 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm)
to something much more radical ! Ahhh ... I still miss you guys !
Keep the Faith !
Long Live Rock !

Can't believe you just cited "Women in refrigerators" by Gail Simone. That's "in the know" kinda chatter!

Love the piece.

Think I'd pick up "One More Deal" too. But not if it's longer than four issues. Event fatigue, y'know? I think it's a chronic condition.

Hiya Jason, how are ya? I've always known where to find you after Q, just never knew what to say. Other than I miss you!!

It's a huge adjustment this unemployment thing huh?!, I feel for you. I was with Ma Bell for 28.5 yrs, they declared me surplus 3 yrs ago. Got a new job with the Govt 3 weeks after I got let go, but because I was on contract, it lasted 9.5 mths. Then EI for 9.5 mths (UGH!!!!), have been back with them (different location, same job) for 1.5 yrs now. Still on contract, no benefits. Pension will kick in at 55 should I stop working at that age. One day at a time!

Your a good lookin redheaded young guy ;) You will bounce back, one door closes... I wish you all the best Mr. Ward, take care out there!

Hey Jay, I noticed you weren't on the air any longer and that's horrible news for the City bud. Since I've known you in high school you have always been a well spoken, fun and intelligent guy. you will have no problem bud. let me know if there is anything I can do in your pursuits. You made Q107.1 a great station.
